Huntington's Disease Awareness Month brings the HD community together to unite against the havoc Huntington's can cause. Starting off at the Huntington's Society of Canada, Huntington's Disease Awareness Month and the Light It Up 4HD campaign has grown into a global recognition of the disease, helping raise awareness around the world.
A key focus will be LightItUp4HD, a worldwide campaign in which buildings, landmarks, and homes alike will be lit up in the HDA colours throughout the month of May. Those who care for HD patients will also be subject to special focus. From professionals to family carers, The HDA community will be honouring all their hard work during the 13 - 19 May.
